To those that are new to watching the Tripod, it is not uncommon to see the Tripod tip over as the ice rot worsens. The Tripod tipping does NOT meet the conditions needed to stop the clock that is tethered to the Tripod. The clock will stop when the Tripod has moved approximately 100 feet down river from where the Tripod was set up. That being said, once the Tripod tips, there isn't too long of a wait before it travels that 100 feet. So, to those of you lucky guessers that submitted guesses coming up, keep your eyes on the Live Cam, and we wish everyone the best of luck as we patiently watch and wait with anticipation.
